Plant Selections

McNaughton's Cherry Hill Garden Center is located on the original six acre nursery property where Bill McNaughton's father started the business in 1929. Plants were grown in the ground at that time and not in containers like today. You would choose your plant and they would have to dig it for you. Things have changed quite a bit and today we offer plants in containers from our own local Indian Mills Nurseries as well as from all over the country. We grow much of our own plants locally at our Indian Mills Nursery with locations in Tabernacle and Deerfield, New Jersey. At our Tabernacle location we grow a wide variety of shrubs and perennials including japanese hollies, azaleas, junipers, hydrangeas, daylillies, hostas and ornamental grasses. At our Deerfield location we grow shade and ornamental trees including maples, oaks, pears, cherries, arborvitaes, yews and pines. In order to provide you with the best quality plant material most of our plants are grown in containers. This allows them to be sold throughout the growing season and transporting them is easier and cleaner.

McNaughton's plant offerings are the largest and most complete in the area including ornamental trees and shrubs including the Gold Medal Plants, perennial flowering plants, patio plants, tropicals, annual flowers and the new Proven Winner plant combinations. We make every effort to provide our customers with the most popular and sought after plants suitable for our growing area. In addition to the tried and true favorites, you will find choice and hard to find nursery stock to make your garden a unique and wonderful environment.
